After extensive effort, the portfolio website documenting my work in the theatre is complete. After the semester is over and it has been beta tested several more times, I'll be buying a proper domain space for it. After that, I'll be buying some business cards, and show the website around.
Everything came together quite nicely, if I do say so myself.

Theatre Portfolio Website
Over the past few weeks I've been working very hard on a website dedicated to my work in the theatre. The website is currently complete. At the moment, I am working and revising the content of the site; experimenting with how it is displayed, how the productions are shown, etc...
I am also looking for users to help beta test the website. If you are interested in helping, leave me a message in the comment section below.

Post [bare] Production
Now that the twin productions of [bare] and Pirates of Penzance are finished, I'm looking forward to a fair bit of free time. I'm going to be able to commit a good chunk of time towards my webdesign studies and other academic activities at TCNJ. My webdesign classes with Kim Pearson and John Kuiphoff are coming to a final few frantic weeks that are quickly approaching. However before they start, I am looking towards a lovely Thanksgiving break with friends and family at home.
Kendall definitely hasn't seen the last of me for this semester, but it'll have to make due with a short hiatus.

Opening night!
Success! [bare] was a complete success! The production opened tonight to a sold out crowd in the Don Evans Black Box Theatre. Joey Tible and William West starred in the two hour long production, and stole countless hearts and tears from the audience. Few people were left dry-eyed by the end of the show. A Women and Gender's studies class attended the a Tuesday night sneak-preview. Of the sixty-odd students who attended, the majority of them left the theatre sniffling and wiping away tears.
Fair warning to all who see the show: Bring some tissues!

[bare]
[bare]! Not the animal, but rather the production being put on by TCNJ's Musical theatre. Tech week for the production of [bare] TCNJ Musical Theatre (or TMT) is going to be put up during the strike of Pirates. The set has been built during load-in, and full practice runs of the show will be rehearsed. The full complement of cast and crew will be present. Full tech runs will also begin at the same time, with all lighting and sound cues, and all scene changes.
[bare]'s opening night is November 16th, and the production will run from the 16th to the 19th, with a matinee and evening performance on the 19th. Buy tickets in advance, because performances are already selling out!

Pirates of Penzance is finally here!
After many hours of hard work, Pirates of Penzance opened last night. Owing to early ticket sales, the house was packed. The crowd buzzed with an energy that could only be attributed to the excitement of opening night.
The performance itself was flawless. The cast was funny, with a sense of timing not seen in most productions. Particularly humorous were the pointed conversations between the Major General and the Pirate King. Both characters are played by brilliant and experienced actors.
The Pirates of Penzance is produced by Lyric Theatre. It will be running until Sunday, November 13th in Kendall Hall at the College of New Jersey.

Lyric Theatre brings back Raymond McCue!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ray, he was a well-known character in the TCNJ theatre community for the past four years. He was well known for his participation in Lyric Theatre's production of Into the Woods, and TCNJ Musical Theatre's Thoroughly Modern Millie. He graduated last year from TCNJ, but has since been brought back! Lyric Theatre has cast him as the Pirate King in the Pirates of Penzance. If this isn't incentive enough to come see the show, the set is looking amazing, and is only getting prettier.

Lyric Theatre's Pirates of Penzance
Funded by TCNJ's Music Department, Lyric Theatre puts on two shows a year. During the fall they put on a musical in the mainstage, and each spring they produce an opera in the Don Evans Black Box Theatre. This upcoming November, they are producing the Pirates of Penzance. The fabulous production is an amusing comedy filled with love, laughs, and more than a few musical numbers. The show is being put on by most of the same talented production staff that produced last year's Into The Woods. Those who are a fan of the performing arts should run to the box office to grab their tickets ASAP.
Hope to see you all there!

TCNJ Musical Theatre's Bare!
Just came back from another rehearsal of Bare, which is put on by TCNJ's own musical theatre group, TMT. The production is coming along very well. The cast is starting to understand their characters, and build a personality that is truly impressive to behold.
The production is coming up in just over a month, in mid-November. It'll be an amazing time for anyone who comes out to see it! More information about the production will be published on this page!
